This prototype cabinet, designed and manufactured by the Rider Furniture Company, Inc. was submitted to Stewart-Warner as a possible candidate to house the chassis of Stewart-Warner's top table model radio for 1939.  Stewart-Warner used the cabinet as did Firestone with thier Air Chief model S-7246-8 radio.  I acquired this cabinet  from "mr. majestic" at an ebay auction during January of 2005.
