This receiver touts a rather artistic grill for a wooden
tombstone radio. The inner portion is curvy and flamboyant
which is finished in black lacquer. The two outer edges are
straight and conservative, opposite of the inner portion, and are
finished in the same oak finish that covers the rest of the
cabinet. Another unique aspect of this radio are the four
brass colored inserts. The inserts are actually an aluminum or
steel metal but the amber lacquer finish gives them a golden
color. I purchased this receiver from an Ebay auction in
2001. |
