Ceramic Zenith Radio Lamp

    This lamp was modeled after the 1938 Zenith 12S267 and was either marketed as a novelty lamp or as a free give away, complements of the Zenith Radio Corp., with every purchase of a new Zenith radio. I've seen two other examples over the past couple of years which leads me to believe that this was mass produced and not a custom one off item. I purchased this lamp, minus the shade, from Riley Auctions of Indianapolis, Indiana in 2025. The shade was purchased from The Lamp Store of Zionsville, Indiana. It's a Cream colored square bell lamp shade, item number 780-942-10-19, with the dimensions of 3.5x5 6.5x10x7.5.

    This paper label is off another example that was also sold by the Riley Auction Co. of Indianapolis in late 2024. It's located on the lower side of the lamp.

This is an example of a nicely casted lamp base which was sold by Matthew Bullock Auctioneers of Ottawa, IL, United States on March 2, 2024 for $70.
