Wilson
1935
Wilson Radio Laboratories,
Alexandria, Indiana USA

This model was manufactured around 1935. During production, Charles Wilson was able to get a good deal on the purchase of some surplus Sunbeam dials in which he used in the beginning of production. After all of the Sunbeam dials were used up, Charles ordered more of the the same dials but, this time, with the Wilson name printed on them. Today, this particular model of Wilson radio can be found with either the Sunbeam name on the dial or with the Wilson name on the dial. Also a number of console versions, built during the same time period, can also be found featuring either the Sunbeam or the Wilson dial. I purchased this radio, in October 2013, from the "Noblesville Antique Mall" in Noblesville, Indiana.
